Did you miss Seattle Seahawks football? I know you did, so don’t answer the question.
Well we’re one step closer to real live-game action, as training camp for the 2019 NFL season kicked off on Thursday. It was an absolutely gorgeous, sunny day at VMAC in Renton, as the Seahawks had their first of 12 sessions open to the public. Fans got their fill of photos, autographs, and basking in the sunshine while seeing the Seahawks prep for a brand new campaign.
Among the highlights you’ll see in this video are Chris Carson hurdling an imaginary defender on a pass reception (we will just pretend it’s Aaron Donald), a diving sideline catch by Tyler Lockett, and JD McKissic looking explosive and quick running up the field.
Here’s a brief round-up of what happened on Day 1:
Oh yes, and a bonus clip showing visual evidence of DK Metcalf running a sideline route and hauling in a Russell Wilson pass. Complete and utter dominance is inevitable based on this footage.
