Rob Gronkowski may no longer be a part of the New England Patriots, but his influence remains. During his press conference at training camp on Monday, Bill Belichick cracked a 69 joke and appeared to smirk over it. He was asked about offensive lineman Dan Skipper’s length and noted Skipper was like Nate Solder in that both are 6-foot-9. The Patriots head coach smiled after saying that and then joked about whether he would be fined by the media for the reference. Gronkowski retired from the NFL during the offseason. But when he was playing, he was well known for his love of the number 69. The former tight end used to try and slip 69 references into conversations wherever possible. Is this the new, fun Bill Belichick?
