The Jacksonville Jaguars will likely be without rookie tight end Josh Oliver through the preseason and maybe even into Week 1 of the regular season due to a hamstring injury that head coach Doug Marrone has labeled as “significant” on Friday before practice.
Doug Marrone says TE Josh Oliver has a “significant” hamstring injury. Sounds like the team will plan as if he won’t be ready for the start of the regular season. #Jaguars

Veteran tight end Geoff Swaim will likely see an increase in reps because of Oliver’s injury.
The Jaguars signed tight end Donnie Ernsberger on Friday to help fill the void after Oliver went down and they waived/injured rookie tight end Michael Colubiale due to a concussion.
