Predicting when Tom Brady will hang up his cleats for good and retire has been the subject of conjecture for years. Heading into the 2019 NFL season, however, many NFL pundits, insiders and the like have speculated it’s at a minimum a possibility that Brady’s long and successful tenure with the New England Patriots could be nearing its end. ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter has joined the ranks of those who believe there are factors in play that arguably hint at how Brady conceivably could leave the Patriots at season’s end. In an interview Wednesday on WEEI , Schefter laid out how certain circumstances in Brady’s personal and professional life could lead one to infer that the legendary quarterback, setting aside the potential of retirement, at the very least may no longer be a member of the Patriots organization during the 2020 offseason.
