Trey Marshall is working to parlay his starting snaps in last night’s preseason game to an eventual roster spot.

Broncos safety Trey Marshall joined KOA Radio tonight on air to talk about last night’s preseason game against the 49ers.

Marshall received starting safety reps next to Justin Simmons with Will Parks and Kareem Jackson sitting out due to injury. The Florida state product logged 35 snaps last night and is fighting for a roster spot in a crowded safety room.

Towards the end of his interview, Marshall talked about the talent Denver has at the safety position and how it was stacked from top to bottom. He said he’s just trying to continue to work and get better because he recognizes that he could get cut at any time.

We’ll see how it all shakes out once players get healthy, but for now, Marshall is trying to make the most of his starting snaps with the first team defense.

Check out the full interview above.
