All it took was one pass from Patrick Mahomes Saturday against the San Francisco 49ers to let us know the Kansas City Chiefs’ offense is ready for the season. On his first attempt of the game, Mahomes let it rip to running back Damien Williams, who broke open down the left side of the field. The running back made some excellent moves to finish off the play with a touchdown. Sixty-two yards and a cloud of dust. It’s the new era of NFL football in full effect, with Mahomes and the Chiefs leading the way.
