Earlier this week, details emerged of a lawsuit against Patriots’ WR Antonio Brown for alleged rape and/or sexual assault. In the report, there is mention of another NFL player who was present on the night of one the alleged incidents in May of 2018.
On Sunday night, Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio reported that this unnamed player is in fact Marquise Brown.
The lawsuit against Antonio Brown mentions, but makes no allegations against, another player; that player is Ravens WR Marquise Brown https://t.co/aJkuGTBf54

It’s important to note that “Hollywood”, the cousin of Antonio Brown, faces no accusations himself. Given that Antonio is a family member of his, however, it’s not surprising that Marquise was supposedly with him the day of one of alleged incidents. The good news is that Brown (Marquise) is no way, shape, or form involved in the lawsuit whatsoever.
However, the league will almost certainly be contacting Brown as a potential witness and will want to hear from him to gain any further knowledge. According to Florio, Brown is “expected to give information that will support his cousin’s position”.
Brown, 22, has been in the headlines recenltly, not for his involvement in AB’s case, but rather for his performance on the field. The rookie wideout has caught 12 passes for 233 yards and two touchdowns through Weeks 1 & 2 of the regular season thus far.
