Broncos players eye milestones versus Titans

Individual players are hoping to ring in a few career accomplishments when the Denver Broncos face off against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

Coming off their first win of the season last week against San Diego, the Denver Broncos are looking to start a good old fashioned win streak. However, according to the Broncos weekly media release, there are a few players looking to hit meaningful milestones along the way. So while you’re watching the score, also keep an eye out for the following players.

Even though he missed two games in 2018 and has shared carries with Phillip Lindsay since being selected in the 3rd round of the 2018 draft, Royce Freeman has steadily accumulated some stats. With 593 scrimmage yards in 2018 and 353-yards so far in 2019, Freeman could reach 1,000 scrimmage yards with just 54 yards on Sunday.

Sitting currently at 19 interceptions, Chris Harris, Jr. is just 1 pick away from becoming the 12th Denver Bronco to haul in 20 interceptions.

Although Von Miller hasn’t rung up the sacks like he’d have hoped thus far in 2019, his 2 sacks against Jacksonville gave him an even 100 for his career. Currently, he’s tied for 33rd place all time, but needs just 1 sack to pass Charles Haley, Cameron Wake & William Fuller to take sole possession of 30th place on the NFL’s all-time sack list.

2019 is wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders’ 6th year in Denver playing for the Broncos. In that time, he’s posted 5,301 receiving yards in orange and blue on 398 receptions. If Sanders nets 150 receiving yards on Sunday, he’ll pass ring of famer Haven Moses (5,450) into ninth place on the Broncos’ all-time receiving yards list. While 150 yards one game is a lofty goal, it’s not altogether unobtainable. Be on the lookout for this much more likely milestone, Sanders needs just 2 receptions to reach 400 as a Bronco.

So while we all watch our Denver Broncos march to their 2nd (hopefully) win of the season, let’s keep our eyes peeled for these individual achievements that could happen on Sunday. So to Royce, Chris, Von, and Emmanuel, we say good luck and let’s go Broncos!
