The Los Angeles Chargers are reportedly considering the idea of moving on from the Philip Rivers era, and multiple scouts have connected them to Joe Burrow, per Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller. It’s not hard to see why the Chargers are considering a change. Rivers hasn’t been razor sharp this season, and the team is losing. Entering Week 8, Los Angeles has a record of 2-5, and the organization may be finally sensing it’s time to bring in new blood. It’s also not hard to understand why a team looking at quarterbacks may be intrigued by the LSU product. Burrow is having arguably the best season of any quarterback in college football. He’s completing a high percentage of his passes (79.4%) and has put up 2,484 yards with 29 touchdowns and just three interceptions through eight games. Perhaps even more intriguing to an NFL team is the fact that Burrow excels at the RPO offense, which has become more prevalent in the league of late. We’ll certainly be keeping an eye on this as the Chargers play out their 2019 seaso
