Good morning! In a few hours we’ll get to see if the 49ers can keep this new winning concept they’ve developed going as they head to take on Washington. I know the big storyline is Kyle Shanahan returning to FedEx Field with a team that isn’t full of Trent Baalke draft picks.
I’m more concerned on the here and now. The 49ers are such a team that they should demolish Washington within the half. To put it another way, Washington is the Miami Dolphins of the NFC. The only thing working against the 49ers is the 10:00 AM start time. They might come out a bit lethargic, but they also should be able to beat teams like Washington. And given Shanahan’s history, it’s would be awesome.
The sad part of course is the fans. As 49ers fans we know what a dysfunctional organization is like and Dan Snyder seems to be taking things to a whole new level with that crew. And I feel sorry for them to have to deal with yet another coach getting pushed out with that front office.
