For the Broncos, the only player not to participate in practice was cornerback Bryce Callahan who will be out a few more weeks due to a foot injury.
Tackle Ja’Wuan James who returned to practice last week continued to be limited this week as he continues to return from a knee injury. Head Coach Vic Fangio told reporters after practice today that James didn’t do enough last week to play and it is too early to tell if he will be able to suit up this Sunday vs. the Titans.
“It’s too early. He didn’t do enough last week anywhere close to be ready to play. We’re looking to see how much strides he’s made.”
So his status will be a big one to monitor throughout the week. He was the Broncos big free agency addition and he has only played a total of 11 snaps or so for the team. His addition to the offensive line should be an instant upgrade and would help to protect quarterback Joe Flacco and open up running lanes for the running backs. Reserve Elijah Wilkinson has been receiving the starts at right tackle with James sidelined.
