Philadelphia Eagles at Minnesota Vikings: ALL THE COVERAGE~!

How can you follow along with all the action?

In just about twelve hours or so, we will be witnessing kickoff from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis between the Philadelphia Eagles and your Minnesota Vikings. This shapes up to be a pretty significant game for both teams, and hopefully the Vikings can break out of their “every other week” funk to put together their first winning streak of 2019.

We want to make sure everyone can follow along with tomorrow’s action, so we’re going to put all of the information you need to do that here in one place.

Television Info

We are once again kicking things off at that one singularly greatest time for NFL games to kick off, that being noon Central time on Sunday. The game will be broadcast on FOX, which is KSTP-9 in the Twin Cities, and your play-by-play team will be Kenny Albert and Charles Davis.

If you are outside of the Twin Cities area, you can find out if you’re in the primary broadcast area for this one, thanks to this map from the good folks at 506 Sports. The Vikings/Eagles game is represented by the red portion of the map.

If you’re using the DirecTV Sunday Ticket package to catch this one, you’ll find it on Channel 710.

For viewers in the United Kingdom, this game is not going to be shown on any of the outlets over there that air live NFL games. Your best bet is going to be using NFL GamePass.

For our men and women in uniform overseas, this game will be aired live on the American Forces Network, specifically on AFN Sports. Kickoff is slated for 1800Z, which works out to 1900L for viewers in Central Europe, 2130L for everyone in Afghanistan, and 0200L on Monday morning for fans in Japan and Korea.

Radio Info

If you’re going to be traveling, if you simply prefer radio to television, or if you’d like to try to sync the radio feed up with the television broadcast, you can find a Vikings Radio Network affiliate in your area. Just click on the link to find the full list of partners across the Midwest.

If you prefer satellite radio, or if you’re too far outside of the Vikings Radio Network area to get the game there, you can tune to Sirius Channel 82 or XM Channel 227 to get the feed from the Vikings Radio Network. If you’ll be using the SiriusXM online app, the Vikings’ permanent home there is Channel 819.

Referee Info

Football Zebras informs us that the officiating crew for this contest will be led by Scott Novak. This is Novak’s first season as a head referee, so he hasn’t officiated a Vikings game yet. For what it’s worth, home teams are 3-1-1 in games called by Novak’s crew this season. (It isn’t worth much.)

Weather Info

The game is going to be indoors, so the weather isn’t going to have any effect. If you’re thinking about tailgating before this one. . .well, the weather isn’t going to be ideal for that. Temperatures will be in the mid-30s with what our friends at WeatherNation are calling a “wintry mix” of precipitation. By the time the game is over the precipitation will have changed to just rain, but it’s still going to be pretty wet and miserable out there.

Streaming Info

In order to stream this game in legal fashion, along with a lot of other non-football stuff, you can check out Fubo.tv for over 100 channels of live, streaming sports. They also have a free seven-day trial so that you can check out the service for yourself.

The other legal streaming alternative is NFL GamePass.

As always, we won’t be tolerating links to illegal streaming sites here at The Daily Norseman. Don’t post them or even hint at them. If you want an illegal stream that badly, do the search for it yourself. . .somewhere else.

That should be everything you need to keep track of all the action from MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon between the Vikings and the Giants, folks. We hope to see a bunch of you here for the Game Threads as well, with the first one coming up on the site at right around 11:00 AM Central time.
