The Ravens flew 2,300 miles across the country and will return home with a win, a 5-2 record and now get to enjoy a much-needed bye week before they take on the New England Patriots. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Let’s talk about the 30-16 victory.
Co-MVP: QB Lamar Jackson
When all else failed around him, Jackson put on the Infinity Gauntlet and took care of the game himself.

By games’ end, Jackson finished with 15 carries for 116 yards and a touchdown. He only completed nine of his 20 pass attempts, but that was by far not his fault. Mark Andrews dropped four of them, including a touchdown pass. Seth Roberts and Willie Snead IV both dropped one a piece, hence the determination from Jackson to will this team—his team, to a victory.

Co-MVP: Don ‘Wink’ Martindale
This defense has struggled all season. They couldn’t come up with the stop when they needed to, or the turnover when it was all on the line. Today, that narrative stopped. Newly-acquired cornerback Marcus Peters became the first to intercept Russell Wilson this season, and also took it 67-yards for a touchdown. Marlon Humphrey scooped up a strange D.K. Metcalf fumble and returned it 18-yards for the touchdown. They got off the field. They created pressure. They made the plays. There’s more to be desired but I’m not harping on Wink and the defense today.

CB Marlon Humphrey — Yet another big day for Humphrey! This was his worst game of the season and yet he still scored a touchdown and sealed the game. He’s still on track to make a Pro Bowl and, hopefully, an All-Pro nomination.

FS Earl Thomas III — Rode into Seattle and left as the winner. You love to see it.
DT Brandon Williams — With Pernell McPhee out, the Ravens needed somebody to step up and pressure Wilson. Williams did so on back-to-back plays.
WR Miles Boykin — Caught an early shot from Lamar for 50 yards. Get him more involved, please.
K Justin Tucker — 3/3 on field goals and 3/3 on PATs. Just keep adding to that beautiful all-time percentage, Tucker.
OLB Tyus Bowser — Stepped up in a big way with McPhee’s absence. Held steady in the run game and nabbed three combined tackles.
ILB L.J. Fort — Had a huge open-field tackle on Wilson which ceased a Seahawk drive. Another great addition by Eric DeCosta.
ILB Josh Bynes — It’s strange, watching the a player rock No. 57 with dreads and feeling confident in their tackling ability. I love what we’ve seen from Bynes’ return.
CB Anthony Averett — After a couple of rough weeks, including a healthy scratch, we see Averett rejoin his team and make some plays. Other than the 37-yard reception from Metcalf, Averett balled. Also, I’ll argue against anybody on that play. Carroll called the perfect play and they executed it perfectly. He stopped a touchdown and played rather well.
Losers*
*These players had a bad game. This shouldn’t be taken too literally. This is a critique article of the game today.
TE Mark Andrews — Four drops, including a touchdown. Brutal game for the sophomore. He’ll bounce back fine. I’m not worried and he’ll still finish as a top-5 tight end.
