Washington travels to Minnesota to face the Vikings in another exciting Thursday Night Football match-up, but this one is highlighted by a couple players taking on their former teams. Quarterback Kirk Cousins spent the first six years of his career in Washington before signing with the Vikings for a boat-load of money, and Adrian Peterson, the Vikings all time rushing leader, is still going strong in D.C. at 34 years old.
Minnesota, at 5-2, should have the edge against a 1 win Washington team that recently made a change at head coach, but they are 1-1 under Bill Callahan’s guidance.
A Minnesota win will keep the pressure on the other NFC North teams, and keep them in the driver’s seat for a playoff spot. Speaking of which, do you guys think the Vikings have what it takes to make the playoffs?
There are 10 teams at .500 or better in the NFC, including the 3-3 Bears, so can Minnesota hold on to play in the postseason?
