The first game of Week 7 is here.
The New England Patriots will have to wait until Monday night to enter Week 7, when they go up against the New York Jets on the road to try to improve to 7-0 on the year. This means that fans can sit back and relax tonight, and watch two AFC West rivals go at each other on Thursday Night Football. Who should you root for, you might ask? Well, let’s take a look at the two contestants to find out:
Kansas City Chiefs (4-2) at Denver Broncos (2-4)
When: 8:20 p.m. ET
Where: Empower Field at Mile High, Denver CO
Television: FOX and NFL Network
Live streaming: fuboTV (sign up here)
SB Nation coverage: Arrowhead Pride (Chiefs); Mile High Report (Broncos)
Patriots rooting guide: Go Broncos! This one is pretty simple: the Chiefs are one of the top teams in the AFC and despite a recent two-game losing streak still very much in the race for the conference’s top playoff seed — a race that is, of course, currently led by the Patriots. In order to get even more breathing room against Kansas City, a Denver home victory would be ideal. While the odds favor the visitors, the Broncos enter the game with back-to-back wins under their belt.
