Kittle, Sanders, and Samuel are all active.
The San Francisco 49ers are about an hour away from kickoff in what is a pivotal matchup for playoff positioning. The Green Bay Packers come to town with a relative clean bill of health. The 49ers can’t say the same. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported late Saturday night that the offense would have George Kittle, Emmanuel Sanders, and Deebo Samuel all active. He also reported that running back Matt Breida would not suit up Sunday night for San Francisco. It was expected that Breida, Joe Staley, and Dee Ford would all miss Week 12’s primetime game.
Robbie Gould was out kicking four hours before kickoff. Chase McLaughlin came out with the rest of the team, which indicated that Gould wouldn’t play.
Jennifer Lee Chan tweeted that there would be a surprise inactive a couple of hours before the game. Some speculated whether that was WR Marquise Goodwin, who took to Twitter himself. Goodwin was in shorts for warmups, which furthered the idea that he would be inactive. Here are the inactives for tonight’s game:
C.J. Beathard
R. Gould
M. Goodwin
M. Breida
D. Ford
J. Staley
L. Toilolo
Because Garrett Celek is active, Toilolo is inactive.
Here are the inactives for the Packers:
11 WR Ryan Grant
22 RB Dexter Williams
25 DB Will Redmond
29 CB Ka’dar Hollman
67 OL Adam Pankey
87 TE Jace Sternberger
