The guys mourn the post season hopes of the 2019 Bears, recap the Rams game, and preview the Giants coming to town.
The Bears finally traveled to the Coliseum, about 10 months later than Bears fans were hoping for, and were unable to generate anything of substance on offense. Jeff and EJ break down the disappointment on the west coast including that Mitchell Trubisky injury. EJ breaks down a scenario where he could conceive of a Matt Nagy ouster and Jeff, well, let’s just say they have a difference of opinion in the chances of that happening.
The guys then shift their focus to what is honestly the most winnable game left on the schedule. A sad New York Giants team travels to Soldier Field this weekend with only two wins on the season, led by a rookie QB who is still figuring things out. The Giants rank near the bottom in all statistical measures in both offense and defense so there’s hope that the Bears defense can take this one over on its own.
All that and more on this week’s Bears Over Beers so grab a beverage and enjoy the episode.
