The J-E-T-S are coming to town as Andy Dalton looks to re-energize the winless Bengals. Follow this stream for everything about the game!

The Bengals picked an interesting time to bring Andy Dalton back off of the bench. Sunday’s game against the Jets will be Dalton’s third meeting with New York’s AFC squad. Cincinnati has won the previous two contests, one of them was a 49-9 blowout in Paul Brown Stadium that featured five passing touchdowns from Dalton; with four of them ending up in the hands of Marvin Jones Jr.
Jones obviously isn’t suiting up this week for the Bengals and odds are, neither will A.J. Green. Despite the news of his old quarterback returning to the starting lineup, Green did not practice on Wednesday and that essentially eliminates him from playing this week. Zac Taylor will want to make sure Green gets a full week of practice in before playing him for the first time, even when he’s facing a Jets defense that is ranked fifth in the NFL per Football Outsiders’ DVOA metric.
For a while it looked like Gregg Williams was overmatched as defensive coordinator, but he’s gotten his unit playing well over the past three weeks during the team’s three-game win streak. Quarterback Sam Darnold has thrown for 9.41 yards per attempt and has seven touchdowns to just one interception during this stretch of winning as well.
Oh yeah, and standing behind Sam Darnold in the backfield is Le’Veon Bell, remember him? Bell has had a rough season from a yards per carry perspective (3.2) but his 368 receiving yards are seventh amongst running backs.
Despite their signs of ineptitude early on, the Jets are surging at 4-7. Meanwhile, the Bengals’ locker room is dying for a win. Will Dalton returning be enough to avoid a 12th straight loss in 2019?
