Golden Nuggets: Enter the tougher second half

Your San Francisco 49ers links for Wednesday, November 6 2019

Good morning! We are entering the second half of the NFL season and I doubt many of us saw the 49ers at 8-0 to start things. What is losing? Hell, I don’t know. I forgot, much like how the 49ers forgot how to lose.

Well, I hope we have that repressed, because this is where the schedule gets really tough. 49ers plow through this and I don’t know who beats them. Seattle twice, Baltimore and New Orleans on the road, and the Packers.

Ugh.

I still think the 49ers can pull some wins out. The margin of victories they’ve had already shows they should be able to hold their own against the Saints and Ravens. Plus, need I remind people the Carolina Panthers are not a bad football team. They might not go to the playoffs, but they certainly are not the Miami Dolphins either.

I think the 49ers are going to be making a postseason appearance, but what seed it is will be interesting to watch. The thing to remember is while they were active in free agency and in trades, you didn’t see them continually double down and push their chips in only to head back to the ATM like another team in the division we know. I do think the 49ers can sustain success for years to come, but I’d love to have the return of the dynasty start in 2019.
