For the last week plus, there has been a lot of drama surrounding Jets safety Jamal Adams. The Jets listened to trade offers for Adams around the time of the deadline. The safety did not take kindly to that news, lashing out on social media and stating he was unsure he wanted to remain a member of the team for the long-term.
On Thursday Adams said he has spoken with the head coach and general manager of the team, and things are now all right.

Jamal Adams on #Jets: "I would love to be here, as simple as that. I want to bring success to this organization. I want to bring a Super Bowl to this organization. That's why I feel like I was placed in New York, to kind of pick up where my Dad left off, you know what I mean?"

That settles things for now. We will wait to see how things go in the offseason. Adams’ play has regressed a bit from a year ago. The Jets also have a shortage of quality players at positions more important than safety and are in need of extra Draft picks to address them.
But that is a worry for the offseason. For now it sounds like this drama is over.
