Let’s see if he can win another one!
Kirk Cousins had another big week in Week 11 of this 2019 NFL season. More accurately, he had a big second half in leading the Minnesota Vikings to a 27-23 comeback win over the Denver Broncos, but he’s once again gotten the attention of the folks at FedEx.
Yes, Cousins has been nominated for the FedEx Air Player of the Week Award once again.
This is the third time that Cousins has been nominated for the award this season. He was nominated (and won) in Week 6, and was then nominated again in Week 7.
Cousins’ final numbers from Sunday show him completing 29-of-35 passes for 319 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions. He’s got some pretty stiff competition this week in the form of Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Dak Prescott (29/46, 444 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT in a 35-27 win over Detroit) and San Francisco 49ers’ quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (34/45, 424 yards, 4 TD, 2 INT in a 36-26 win over Arizona).
