Steelers QB Mason Rudolph defended himself after Sunday’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals when asked about Myles Garrett’s accusation. During his appeal hearing with the NFL regarding his indefinite suspension, Garrett accused Rudolph of using a racial slur during their fight. Garrett never made the accusation public and only commented on it after the subject matter was leaked by the media. Garrett said on Thursday that he stands by the allegation. When asked Sunday about the accusation, Rudolph said that “it’s totally untrue” and he “couldn’t believe” Garrett would say that. It’s been a rough week for Rudolph. Not only did he face this new allegation from Garrett, but he got benched on Sunday after struggling against Cincinnati. One of the reasons many had a tough time believing Garrett’s accusation is because the defensive lineman never mentioned it publicly after the game. However, a new report on Sunday says Garrett did say something about it after the Thursday night game.
