For playoff reasons
The Dallas Cowboys are on the road against the New York Giants. The line on this game is currently -6.5 in favor of the road team. The total on this game is 48.5, so Vegas is expecting a 28-21 win for Dak Prescott and company. We’ll talk about the NFC playoff picture tomorrow morning. The Cowboys are currently in first place in the NFC East. If they lose tonight, that would mean the Eagles are back in first place. Down the line, who would you rather play? For me, it’s not even close. I’d want Philadelphia all day.
As for Monday night, Prescott should have another field day against this Giants pass defense. New York has allowed 300-yard passing games to pretty much every veteran quarterback they’ve played that’s worth anything. Prescott threw for 405 yards and four touchdowns Week 1.
Divisional games are always weird and never turn out how you expect. Last Thursday is a great example. It’s tough to imagine the Giants winning this one. Dallas is No. 1 in pass success rate, while the Giant’s defense is No. 27.
