Packers-49ers Inactives: Tight ends Robert Tonyan and George Kittle will play

NFL: Preseason-Green Bay Packers at Baltimore Ravens Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

Tights end dealing with injuries will suit up for their respective teams.

The inactives list for Sunday night’s Green Bay Packers—San Francisco 49ers game is officially out, and the Packers starters come into the game as healthy as possible after a bye week. However, the same cannot be said for the San Francisco 49ers.

Robert Tonyan was listed as questionable after a week in which he was a full participant in practice. He will suit up for the first time since week 5, and should see some passes from Aaron Rodgers tonight. This means Jace Sternberger will be inactive as a healthy scratch. Danny Vitale was also listed as questionable after Friday’s practice after a knee injury left him as a limited participant. He will also play tonight.

Everyone on the inactive list is a healthy scratch for the Packers. The team has six inactive players because they placed offensive lineman Cole Madison on injured reserve on Saturday.

As for the 49ers, the injury bug continues to hit hard. On the defensive side of the ball, offseason addition Dee Ford will not be a part of the defensive line for the 49ers. The defensive line has played great all season, and him being out will be a big help for the Packers offensive line.

Offensively, star TE George Kittle and WR Emmanuel Sanders are active, as is rookie receiver Deebo Samuel. However, leading rusher Matt Breida will not suit up.

Here are the rest of the inactives for both teams.
