Packers Week 12 Injury Report: Clean bill of health for Green Bay on Wednesday

NFL: Green Bay Packers at Los Angeles Chargers Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

No players missed practice on Wednesday due to injury.

When the Green Bay Packers hit the practice field on Wednesday, a large portion of the team saw their name listed on the injury report. There are 14 names on the report to be exact. However, once you dive into the list, you will see that it is filled with nothing but good injury news.

First, not one single Packer missed practice because of an injury. The two players that did miss, Jimmy Graham and Tramon Williams got some well needed rest after 11 long weeks. Although the Packers did have a bye last week, the team has worked their tails off to be 8-2 so the extra rest is well earned.

Davante Adams was limited in practice due to the toe injury that he suffered against the Eagles, but it has not hindered his play since he returned. Being limited in practice is most likely a precaution to make sure he does not re-injure it and that he is getting all the necessary rest. There is no indication that he will not be ready for the biggest game of the year on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. This lengthy report is nothing more than Head Coach Matt LaFleur being cautious.

Speaking of the 49ers, they are not having the same streak of injury luck as the Packers are.

Breakout star George Kittle did not practice today, as he has been dealing with an ankle injury he suffered against the Arizona Cardinals in week 9. Head coach Kyle Shanahan has said Kittle will be a game time decision. The Packers have suffered against the tight ends they have faced, most notable Zach Ertz, Travis Kelce and Greg Olsen. If the 49ers are without Kittle, it would be a big boost for the defense to have to worry about one less weapon.

Other key players for the 49ers such as wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Deebo Samuel did not practice, but Shanahan has indicated that they will also be game time decisions. As the week goes on, the Packers will get a better understanding of the players they will be facing in the Sunday night matchup with the 49ers, which carries a ton of playoff implications.
