This was supposed to be the marquee matchup of the Thanksgiving Day NFL slate.
Yet, it may end up as the worst one.
It all depends on what Falcons team decides to show up.
After losing five straight games, the Falcons got hot out of their bye week, beating these Saints and the Carolina Panthers by a combined 55-12.
Then, they get drubbed at home by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Who shows up today for the Bucs? Who shows up for the Saints for that matter? After beating up on the Cardinals, they came out of their bye and laid and egg against the Falcons, before rebounding with a strong win over the Bucs. Then, they get a gift from the Panthers kicker in a narrow home win over Carolina.
Maybe this game is best at the end of the night after a full belly and beer.
