Let’s see what Twitter had to say.
Hey Falcoholics! On Sunday, the Atlanta Falcons took on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Falcons fell flat after performing well the two previous weeks, falling 22-35.
If you missed the game, or just want to review the tweets from it, look no further. Falcons fans on Twitter have you covered, and without further ado, let’s begin.
Falcons would receive the ball first, as they have the past three games.

Finally breaking out some was tight end Jaeden Graham, who has been impressing with Austin Hooper being out. He had a 53-yard reception over the middle.
Matt Ryan finds a WIDE OPEN Jaeden Graham for a 53-yard gain! LFG!

.@YaleFootball is having a great weekend...

The Falcons, who had three-straight incompletions in the red zone, settled for a field goal. 3-0.
Ryan had only three receivers out on third down and no dice. Koo on

And just like that, Desmond Trufant picked off Winston.
INTERCEPTION FOR DESMOND TRUFANT!
— The Falcoholic (@TheFalcoholic) November 24, 2019
That's a career high
#Falcons CB Desmond Trufant has a career-high four interceptions this season. His previous high was 3 in 2014.
— D. Orlando Ledbetter (@DOrlandoAJC) November 24, 2019
But they would eventually punt.
#Falcons have generated just 3 points off their last 5 takeaways. That number should be at least 14 points higher. https://t.co/4LwkFxow2U
— Aaron Freeman (@falcfans) November 24, 2019
The Buccaneers would take advantage, as Godwin scored a 71-yard touchdown giving Tampa a 7-3 lead.
.@Jaboowins threads the needle and hits Chris Godwin for a 71-yard @Buccaneers TD! @CGtwelve_ #GoBucs

This game is already super annoying

On the next drive Julio Jones would pass Detroit Lions’ great Calvin Johnson for all-time receiving yards.
With this catch, Julio Jones officially passes Megatron for 30th all-time in career receiving yards! pic.twitter.com/sg7W6ejkZI
— Atlanta Falcons (@AtlantaFalcons) November 24, 2019
They would then punt. Luckily for us, the Falcons defense stepped up and got another interception.
#Bucs QB Jameis Winston had 20 touchdown passes and 20 interceptions on the seasons.
— D. Orlando Ledbetter (@DOrlandoAJC) November 24, 2019
The Falcons would turn the turnover into points, as running back Qadree Ollison would score. 10-7 Falcons.
Qadree Ollison is not bound by the chains of the earth and soars for a touchdown. That's two on the year for the big rookie, awesome to see
— The Falcoholic (@TheFalcoholic) November 24, 2019
I think everyone who speculated moving on from Devonta for Brian Hill has their answer. Hill has been very unimpressive as a starter.
— Evan Birchfield (@EvanBirchfield) November 24, 2019
Falcons score their first TD of the game. Qadree Ollison runs it in from one yard out. Falcons 10 Buccaneers 7
— Alison Mastrangelo (@AlisonWSB) November 24, 2019
After a series of punts, the Buccaneers would capitalize on another Godwin touchdown. 10-13 Buccaneers.
Okay Chris Godwin is really good
— Rise Up Reader (@RiseUpReader) November 24, 2019
Chris Godwin right now. Great catch for TD. He now has 5 catches for 125 yards and 2 TDs and that doesn't count 22 yarder nullified by penalty.
— Jeff Schultz (@JeffSchultzATL) November 24, 2019
Matt Gay misses the XP, three point game
— The Falcoholic (@TheFalcoholic) November 24, 2019
After another punt, the Buccaneers marched down field easily, and defensive tackle Vita Vea had a receiving touchdown. Matt Gay missed another PAT, so Tampa entered halftime leading 10-19.
Jameis Winston finds Vita Vea for a touchdown. Yep, DL Vita Vea. (was lined up at FB)
— Wendy Adams (@wendyradio) November 24, 2019
To start the the second half, the Buccaneers had their way with the Falcons defense. Ronald Jones topped it off with a rushing touchdown.
Long run for Ronald Jones? Probably should get Peyton Barber in there for 10 touches the rest of the game...
— Mike Clay (@MikeClayNFL) November 24, 2019
Tampa just ran it all over the Falcons defense for the touchdown.
— Wendy Adams (@wendyradio) November 24, 2019
And for the third time, Buccaneers kicker Matt Gay missed another PAT due to a blocked kick by Kendall Sheffield. 10-25 Buccaneers.
Kendall Sheffield timed the snap, blocked Matt Gay's XP. Sharrod Neasman nearly ran it back for two points. Was stopped around the Bucs' 20. Bucs 25, Falcons 10. 10:58 left to play in the third quarter.
— Jason Butt (@JasonHButt) November 24, 2019
Blocked extra point and Sharrod Neasman put in an all-world effort to get in the end zone there. Huge effort by Sheffield to block that
— The Falcoholic (@TheFalcoholic) November 24, 2019
Now that was wild.
— Alison Mastrangelo (@AlisonWSB) November 24, 2019
Bucaneers score.
Falcons block the extra point attempt.
Sharrod Neasman returns it just short of a TD.
On the Falcons next drive Ryan threw deep to Calvin Ridley who had the ball ripped away for an interception by Carlton Davis.
Ryan throws the pick despite Ridley's best effort. Miserable day
— The Falcoholic (@TheFalcoholic) November 24, 2019
After a Buccaneers punt, the Falcons would move down field and settle on a 40-yard field goal by Younghoe Koo. 13-25 Buccaneers.
Koo hits it, and the Falcons are down 25-13. They have stunk, but they're stinking with points
— The Falcoholic (@TheFalcoholic) November 24, 2019
Koo's 40-yd FG is good. Falcons still trail the Bucs 25-13.
— Wendy Adams (@wendyradio) November 24, 2019
Tampa would get downfield and close to scoring, but ultimately settle for a 32-yard field goal by Matt Gay. 13-28 Buccaneers.
Winston nearly sacked, but escapes and gets to throw it away. Field goal try for Tampa Bay
— The Falcoholic (@TheFalcoholic) November 24, 2019
Atlanta would answer back with a field goal of their own, a 38-yarder by Younghoe Koo. 16-28 Buccaneers.
Koo hits yet another one, but the Falcons are down 12 with a bit over 8 minutes to go, sooooooo
— The Falcoholic (@TheFalcoholic) November 24, 2019
Koo is one of few bright spots today. Great addition and I hope he keeps crushing it.
— Jeañña (@jeannathomas) November 24, 2019
And the original Falcons returned to action as they continued to embarrass.
— The Falcoholic (@TheFalcoholic) November 24, 2019
There's your ballgame... Matt Ryan sacked, fumbled, Bucs return it for a score. 35-16 Falcons trail with 3:06 left to go.
— Wendy Adams (@wendyradio) November 24, 2019
At least I don’t have to watch this stupid team for a whole week.
— NFCSouthKingsoholic Matt (@FalcoholicMatt) November 24, 2019
Matt Schaub would come in to relieve Matt Ryan, and actually throw a touchdown to Ridley. The Falcons would still go on to lose to the Buccaneers, 22-35.
Final. pic.twitter.com/KPBKe64yOh
— Atlanta Falcons (@AtlantaFalcons) November 24, 2019
Even the teeny, tiny chance the Falcons had of pushing for a playoff spot is now gone. Everything the Falcons do from here on out can be aimed at next year, but will it be?
— The Falcoholic (@TheFalcoholic) November 24, 2019
Well that does it, folks. The Falcons came in and returned to normalcy against a bad Tampa Bay team. On Thanksgiving our 3-8 Falcons host the New Orleans Saints in Atlanta.
