Good news heading into Week 11, only one player missed practice on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that player was safety Lamarcus Joyner. With Karl Joseph being placed on IR, the back end of the defense finds itself in a tricky spot if Joyner is unavailable on Sunday.
Joyner left Thursday night’s game with a hamstring injury. While in coverage, he came up limp and immediately fell to the ground.
Jon Gruden did not have an update on Joyner while meeting with the media on Tuesday, saying only that he will be questionable for the game. D.J. Swearinger, who was signed off the couch just a few days ago, could be thrust into action in Joyner’s absence.
After missing the last two games with a groin injury, Josh Mauro looks to be on track to play on Sunday after getting in a limited practice on Wednesday.
