The final game of the week is upon us.
The New England Patriots did not play this week, as the 8-1 team was enjoying its bye over the weekend. The rest of the football world kept spinning, however, as the 10th week of NFL action will come to a close tonight with a battle between two teams in the NFC West. So what does this mean for the Patriots? And who should their fans root for? Let’s find out:
Seattle Seahawks (7-2) at San Francisco 49ers (8-0)
When: 8:15 p.m. ET
Where: Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara CA
Television: ESPN
Live streaming: fuboTV (sign up here)
SB Nation coverage: Field Gulls (Seahawks), Niners Nation (49ers)
Patriots rooting guide: Go good game! Neither the Seahawks nor the 49ers have much of an impact on New England and the AFC’s playoff race, so rooting for a good, injury-free game is the way to go tonight. Of course, you could also root for the ex-Patriots participating in the contest: while Seattle fields Josh Gordon, Jacob Hollister and Tyler Ott, San Francisco has Jimmy Garoppolo and Robbie Gould on its active roster.
