Find out who to root for tonight.
The New England Patriots left Week 11 with a victory after going on the road to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 17-10 on Sunday. This means that tonight’s prime time contest between two AFC West teams is a pretty relaxed affair for the team and its fans — and a chance to scout an upcoming opponent. So what does the game mean for the Patriots? And who should their fans root for? Let’s find out:
Kansas City Chiefs (6-4) at Los Angeles Chargers (4-6)
When: 8:15 p.m. ET
Where: Estadio Azteca, Mexico City
Television: ESPN
Live streaming: fuboTV (sign up here)
SB Nation coverage: Arrowhead Pride (Chiefs), Bolts From The Blue (Chargers)
Patriots rooting guide: Go Chargers! The designated home team is the one to root for tonight, for a simple reason: while the Chiefs have been up and down so far this season, they still present a viable threat to earn one of the top two postseason seeds in the AFC — especially if they can beat the Patriots later this season. Kansas City losing against the Chargers, however, would create more wiggle room for New England and even push Patrick Mahomes and company out of the playoff picture entirely for the time being.
