After defeating the Bills, the Ravens are once again the unanimous #1 team
After picking up another close win, the Ravens remained in the 1st place position in every single power ranking again this week.
ESPN noted that the Ravens are the 2nd ranked offense in the NFL according to FPI efficiency rankings and highlighted their success on offense this season.
No offense has been more surprising this season than the Ravens’. Lamar Jackson has exceeded expectations, becoming the electric catalyst for the best offense in franchise history. Baltimore has the NFL’s top-ranked rushing attack, Jackson leads the NFL in touchdown passes and the Ravens already have scored the most points in a single season in their existence. The offense’s explosion has overshadowed a vastly improved defense and the always reliable special teams. -- Jamison Hensley
Yahoo mentioned that Lamar Jackson needs only 23 more yards to break Michael Vick's single season rushing record.
Lamar Jackson passed the 1,000-yard rushing mark against the Bills, and has 1,017 on the season. The record for a quarterback in a single season is 1,039 by Michael Vick. Even if Jackson sits in Week 17 he’s going to set a mark that might not be reached for a long time ... unless Jackson breaks it himself.
CBS Sports expressed concern about Jackson's hamstring injury, but they still consider the Ravens to be the unquestioned number one team in the league right now.
They just keep on winning and there is no argument they are the league’s best. The defense is getting better by the week, but Lamar Jackson’s hamstring is a concern.

Even when they aren’t running circles around opponents, the Ravens can win ugly. That doesn’t mean Lamar Jackson didn’t have time to collect some more ankles during another solid outing (16-of-25, 145 yards, 3 TDs, INT, 40 rushing yards) while the defense sacked Josh Allen six times, knocked down eight passes and prevented the Bills from mounting a second-half comeback.

Sunday’s win won’t land much airtime in what one can imagine will be an immensely impressive end-of-season highlight reel for the Ravens. But style points are overrated, especially at this time of year. In a game where Lamar Jackson threw for just 145 yards and rushed for less than 4 yards per carry, Baltimore still got it done, because John Harbaugh fields a complete team every week. The defense stepped up in Orchard Park, holding the Bills’ offense to just 209 yards while making life miserable for Josh Allen. After a slow start, Wink Martindale’s D has allowed just two of its past nine opponents to reach 20 points. “We want to be the heroes sometimes,” Matt Judon said, per The Athletic. “It’s usually Lamar and the offensive line are the heroes of the game, and they milk the clock. Today, we were called upon.” They answered.
After picking up a win over the Cardinals, the Steelers came in between 11-15 across the power rankings. The Browns were consistently at the back end of the top 20 after defeating the Bengals on Sunday with an average position of 18.6. NFL.com made the decision to move the Bengals out of last place and replace them with the Jaguars. The Bengals were 32nd in the other 4 rankings.
The Ravens will face the Jets on Thursday night and seek their 10th straight win.
