Thursday Night Football thread: Can the Jets keep it close

“I’d rather have Sam Darnold than Lamar Jackson”-Doug Gottelib

The Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets kickoff the Week 15 slate. The Ravens are big favorites to nobody’s surprise. They opened up as 17 point favorites, with the total on the game at 45.5. Generally speaking, Thursday night games are sloppy and you won’t see a lot of points. Generally speaking, Lamar Jackson isn’t like most quarterbacks you see, especially on a short week. While I think it’ll be a low-scoring game, it wouldn’t shock me if Baltimore came out and got out to a big lead, then ran the clock and got out of this game healthy. The Jets are banged up. They’re without Quinnen Williams and Jamal Adams. They’re also without two cornerbacks. Baltimore is surprisingly healthy for a playoff team this late in the season. Must be nice.

Maybe stop asking guys that cover basketball football questions?
