The agony at Arrowhead continues for Derek Carr. It was another performance to forget for the Raiders quarterback as he now is 0-6 at Kansas City. The offense did nothing in the game and the lack of talent at wide receiver has never been more evident.
The defense did everything they could to keep Oakland in this one, but the turnovers were too much to overcome. None were more disastrous than Derek Carr’s second interception of the game.
Already down 14-0 with 3:58 remaining in the second quarter, the Raider offense desperately needed to get something going. On 2nd and 8, Carr dropped back to pass, stared down Tyrell Williams and delivered a perfect strike to Chiefs defensive back Juan Thornhill.

Thornhill read Carr’s eyes, stepped in front of Williams for the interception and took it to the house for a 21-0 Chiefs lead. The pick-six was very opportunistic for the Chiefs and gave them a three touchdown lead heading into the half before receiving the ball to begin the third quarter.
The Chiefs would continue the dominating performance en route to a 40-9 win.
