Jets head coach Adam Gase and general manager Joe Douglas spoke to the media today at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. Here are some of the highlights.
Gase says he’s not sure if Le’Veon Bell will attend voluntary program, adding his attendance is “not a huge deal.” Says Bell came prepared last year to training camp. #Jets

I say this every year, but there really isn’t much to take away from these Combine press conferences. I think the only real news we learned was the positive developments on the injury front from Mosley and Darnold.
No team will or should offer much information on its offseason plan to the public right now. Anecdotally I have heard that the Combine is when many contract discussions start to take place so this is the point where offseason plans really start to come into focus.
At this point Douglas is essentially a blank slate. He hasn’t had the opportunity to make many moves of consequence. Soon we will get the first chapter of his story and begin to find out whether he is the right man for the job.
