Ron Rivera said he expects to hear from Greg Olsen soon on a decision (interviewed with WASH, Seattle and Buffalo). He added that his impression from Olsen remains that he DEFINITELY is leaning toward playing in 2020. Olsen obviously also has broadcasting options to consider.

Richardson release hopefully is final chapter of #Redskins’ failure to replace Pierre & DeSean. Not re-signing them made sense. Problem was how team replaced them (Doctson, Pryor, Quick, PRich). Hopefully rut is over thanks to McLaurin, Sims, Harmon & perhaps others not yet here.

This could be a clever way for the #Redskins to add more draft picks, if the Cardinals really want out of the David Johnson contract. Would the Cards go as far as offering a 2nd or 3rd rounder for the Skins to take on an $11m cap hit this year? https://t.co/4QfRtAA9wE
— Mark Bullock (@MarkBullockNFL) February 15, 2020
No, I’m saying the cards would give the Redskins a 2nd round pick for the Redskins to take Johnson’s bad contract

.@OhioStateFB @youngchase907 @NFL is going to change a teams culture day 1 just the way @49ers @nbsmallerbear did. A very similar skill set. When you have this DNA; chasing the QB for a living is the American Dream. #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/8Rfy0XsRhm

Teams that anticipate gaining compensatory picks for 2021 may have a heightened interest in the players that were cut today, as well as those that will be cut in the near future.
— Nick Korte (@nickkorte) February 14, 2020
Because players that are cut don't count against them in the compensatory formula.
