Two weeks up, two weeks down for the new XFL. Seattle fans got to see the Dragons get their first win in franchise history with a 17-9 win over the Tampa Bay Vipers, and a couple of former Seattle Seahawks made some splash plays along the way. Here’s a brief rundown of notable former ‘Hawks and how they fared this past weekend.
Keenan Reynolds - Seattle Dragons
The Dragons had virtually no passing offense outside of one play. That play went to wide receiver Keenan Reynolds, whose 68-yard touchdown capped off a 3/87/1 TD box score. For context, Seattle finished with 91 passing yards. This was the first touchdown of Reynolds’ professional career.

Mohammed Seisay - Seattle Dragons
The Dragons cornerback had this excellent pass break-up on fellow ex-Hawk Tanner McEvoy.
Marcell Frazier - Seattle Dragons
Signed as a UDFA and then waived by the Seahawks in 2018, Frazier had the game-winning pick six on one of the crazier defensive plays you’ll see in any league.
What. A. Play.

Tanner McEvoy - Tampa Bay Vipers
One catch for 11 yards on two targets for the Vipers.
Christine Michael - St. Louis Battlehawks
After a dreadful debut last week in which he had -1 yard of offense and a lost fumble, Michael played better in his second game. Michael had 15 carries for 38 yards and two catches for 22 yards, including some nifty work on a 3rd and 16 screen pass to almost get all of the yards.

There was, of course, an utter headscratcher that is quintessential Michael. Someone explain to me why he ran out of bounds on THIS screen pass when he could’ve lowered his shoulder and gotten this 3rd and 12. (He converted on 4th and 1)
Terence Garvin - St. Louis Battlehawks
The former Seahawks linebacker had three total tackles, including a TFL. Here’s that vid!
That’s your quick-and-dirty round-up of Seahawks from yesteryear in the XFL. We’ll provide you with more Dragons coverage this weekend for their showdown with the Dallas Renegades.
