After winning a second career Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs, many assumed Terrell Suggs would be thinking about retirement. According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, that may not be the case. Reporting Monday night, La Canfora wrote Suggs is “weighing his options,” adding that he “still loves the game” and “could pursue a one-year deal in the right spot.” If Suggs does come back to play in 2020, he’ll turn 38 during the season. A former first-round pick known for his time with the Baltimore Ravens, Suggs signed a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals only to be surprisingly released in December. The Chiefs were all too happy to pick him up, and he was a key contributor down the stretch during their Super Bowl run. If Suggs does end up calling it a career, his next stop should be Canton. A likely future Hall of Famer, he’s made seven Pro Bowls, won two championships and has piled up 139 sacks, good for eighth on the all-time list.
