The Kansas City Chiefs have been basking in the afterglow of their Super Bowl LIV victory for about a month now, and deservedly so. While it’s certainly been a fun ride, Andy Reid has recognized it’s time to turn the page and focus on the 2020 season. Addressing the frenetic fallout and accompanying revelry following the Chiefs’ thrilling 31-20 comeback victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 2 in Miami, Reid acknowledged the myriad benefits of being a Super Bowl champion. That being said, Reid knows resting on their laurels much longer will prove detrimental to the Chiefs’ prospects of another title run. “You only have a short time to enjoy that and then you’ve got to move on,” Reid said, per Adam Teicher of ESPN . “That’s where we’re at. We took a little time off after the game, after the parade and that, and then we dove right back in and got busy and we’re still doing that.
