Colts owner Jim Irsay will have a say in quarterback decision

The Indianapolis Colts head into the offseason at a crucial point with a level of uncertainty at quarterback. Less than a year after the organization was forever altered by Andrew Luck’s stunning retirement, owner Jim Irsay will reportedly have a role in helping the Colts find their next quarterback. In an interview with 107.5 The Fan, Irsay said that he will help general manager Chris Ballard make the call on who will be the Colts quarterback in 2020. “Generally, almost always go along, in the end on draft day, Chris (Ballard) is going to make the call,” Irsay said, via 107.5 The Fan. “The quarterback position, the three of us will make it. We have to. It’s too big of a decision. All options are on the table. The Colts' immediate reaction to Luck’s retirement was investing in Jacoby Brissett with a two-year, $30 million extension.
