We kick off another fun-filled week of the NFL off-season

Merry Monday, everyone!

Our week of vacation in Arizona was awesome. We saw the sun for the first time in what seems like years, the weather was beautiful, and we had a really good time. We spent part of a day at Ody-Sea, which is a really cool aquarium (when I say aquarium, I’m talking about a building with a bunch of sea creatures, not the glass box some people have in their homes), We also saw the Phoenix zoo, which was also very impressive, and we took kiddo to Lego Land. Other than that, we didn’t do many touristy things, we went on a hike one day, ate a lot of really good food, swam, and enjoyed the sun.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Finding it difficult to keep track of who the experts think the Vikings will draft? Chris has v1.0 of his Minnesota Vikings mock draft database.

Is it possible that Waynes and Rhodes will both be gone next year? A tweet by Waynes may suggest that to be the case, per Chris. Then again, it may not suggest that to be the case. You never know with social media, athletes seem to enjoy speaking in riddles on there.

Trevon Diggs think he can shut down his brother, Stefon, per Chris.

Other Vikings/NFL news, and random oddities and annoyances:

NFL.com lists their winners and losers from the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine.

CBS Sports lists some highlights and observations from week four of the XFL.

The Sporting News also has a list of winners and losers from the Combine.

We come to today’s media selection:

Inspired by my trip to Phoenix, here’s a great one from Steve Miller. Enjoy!

We all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, and try the rocky mountain oysters.
