There have been numerous rumors about Tom Brady potentially leaving the New England Patriots to sign elsewhere, but none have made a whole lot of sense, until this one. Patriots reporter Tom E. Curran joined Adam Schein on Mad Dog Sports Radio for an interview Tuesday and talked about Brady’s future. Asked to predict whether Brady would leave the Pats, Curran gave his thoughts, and mentioned San Francisco as a contender. “50-50. To me, it’s either going to be New England or Tennessee, with the 49ers closing hard on the outside,” Curran said. Curran described the interest between Brady and San Francisco as being genuine from both sides. The 49ers have Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback, whom they received from the Patriots in a generous 2017 trade. By sticking with Brady rather than going to Garoppolo, New England was able to reach another two Super Bowls and win one.
