We got some more details about Todd Gurley’s now official 1-year contract. We also got together to watch the 1998 NFC Championship Game and it was glorious. Looking back at that game, it’s hard to imagine a more heart-stopping series of events.
The NFL Draft is moving forward, albeit in digital fashion. And speaking of the draft, apparently these player-commissioner virtual meetings between Commissioner Goodell and various prospects aren’t happening. But hey! The draft is something to look forward to as you mow your lawn for the 7th time in a month.
There’s a decent chance the Falcons decide to draft a cornerback in the first round of this month’s draft. Whether you agree with that decision or not, you should book up on the various cornerback prospects that might comprise a short list on the Falcons draft board. Falcohics, meet Clemson CB A.J. Terrell. He’s pretty good at football. “But Jaaaaames, I’m losing track of all these dang prospects!” Don’t worry, I’ve got you, “fam.” (I’m told the kids are saying such things these days.)
