The Jacksonville Jaguars will more than likely trade Pro Bowl edge rusher Yannick Ngakoue before the start of the 2020 NFL Draft in about three weeks. Of course, that’s dependent on the team receiving its asking price for the 25-year-old stud defensive end. It was previously reported that Jacksonville was demanding a first-round pick in a trade for its franchise-tagged star. Now comes this note from ESPN’s Jordan Raanan indicating that Jacksonville’s asking price is more than that. “The other top pass-rushing option is Yannick Ngakoue, who desperately wants out of Jacksonville. The Jaguars are beginning discussions for Ngakoue at a first-round pick and more,” the report read. That seems to be too much of an ask at this point in the offseason. Jacksonville will not want to repeat the same mistake Houston made last offseason when it waited until after the draft to trade Jadeveon Clowney.
