Gilman checks the Raiders’ boxes
The Raiders are taking advantage of the ability to FaceTime with draft prospects in this uncertain time.
Las Vegas reportedly had a pre-draft visit set up with Notre Dame safety Alohi Gilman. But, of course, all pre-draft visits were cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic. Teams are now allowed to do FaceTime meetings with 30 players prior to the draft. The Raiders are taking advantage of them and are getting to know Gilman that way.
Notre Dame SAF Alohi Gilman had private visits set up w/ the #Texans, #Saints, #Raiders, #Patriots & #Cardinals. COVID-19 canceled all of them.

Since then, he's held pre-draft meetings over FaceTime w/ the #Bengals, #Jaguars, #Cardinals, #Texans, #Raiders, #Titans & #Patriots.
Gilman is the type of player the Raiders drafted last year when Mike Mayock became general manager to help assistant coach Jon Gruden. He is a player who produced in college, he comes from a high-profile program and he is considered a leader. He displayed his character at the NFL combine.
Safety is a need position. Perhaps the Raiders will consider Gilman in the mid rounds. Here is a highlight film of Gilman:
