Peterson said this offseason hasn’t really affected how he takes care of his body. Obviously it would have been a little different being at the facility. But don’t worry, #Redskins fans, the 35-year-old is still in shape.

Adrian Peterson says last year was an “eye opener” for Dwayne Haskins and says he expects “big things” from Haskins this season.
— Les Carpenter (@Lescarpenter) May 21, 2020
Adrian Peterson calls Trent Williams the best offensive lineman in the game and says he was unhappy about the Redskins trading him to San Francisco. Adds that he is happy for Williams.
— Les Carpenter (@Lescarpenter) May 21, 2020
Peterson says the playbook has a lot of plays with multiple backs on the field together. “I’m excited to see our role in the offense,” he said.

Entering his third year with the Redskins, Peterson says "this is definitely the best talent pool since I've been here."

"We have the tools to run the table. I really feel that. ... At the end of the day, it sounds...but it's going to be about having the pieces together and executing." Adrian Peterson on team's talent. #HTTR

Dak Prescott turned down a 5-year, $175 million contract offer from the #Cowboys according to @CSimmsQB
— Dov Kleiman (@NFL_DovKleiman) May 21, 2020
It would've made him the highest paid QB in history.
Prescott instead is seeking “north of $45M” in the final season of his new deal, reportedly. pic.twitter.com/IBYCVaxVk7
Correct. We've been reporting for weeks that #Cowboys have offered 5 x 35. Not sure how it's 'new' that 5 x 35 = $175M. :) Thanks for following! https://t.co/5pIRRxxLma
— fishsports (@fishsports) May 21, 2020
Assuming the contract will not be fully guaranteed, that last year at 45 mil is going to a monstrous cap hit in a likely non-guaranteed year. That would probably lead to ANOTHER extension just to knock down that cap hit.
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) May 21, 2020
That price is a bet on himself to force a second big deal. https://t.co/iGC07Pw2az
Per source familiar with Prescott negotiations the report about a 5/175m offer with desire for $45 million in final year isn't accurate. Have been no meaningful discussions for some time between the sides so seems as if they are as far apart as they were a few months ago
— Jason_OTC (@Jason_OTC) May 21, 2020
To clarify any recent speculation on Dak Prescott’s contract negotiations: there have been no discussions on other scenarios other than the Cowboys wanting a longer deal and Prescott wanting a shorter deal, per source.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) May 21, 2020
According to the team side and Dak Prescott’s agent, the report ( ) from @CSimmsQB is definitely not true. The two sides have never discussed such scenarios or anything like it. Dak wants a shorter deal, the #Cowboys want a longer one. July 15 is the deadline. https://t.co/yUgxcz5qcq

I also think that we've reached the point where no running backs really reach a dangerous workload anymore, at least in the NFL. I don't know about college. It's become a moot point with the development of RB committees.

Burrow was real fun to watch every time I watched LSU, but I found myself saying “WOW” about Trevor Lawrence a lot whenever I watched Clemson

Clubs got the agenda for the May 28 league meeting today. Rules changes proposals on there.
— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) May 21, 2020
Most interesting to me: Booth umpire proposal from Chargers and Ravens made it on. That’s the SkyJudge.
We'll continue working w/ on-field officials to identify how existing or additional personnel can utilize in-stadium feeds to assist the crew. Following this, we'll communicate to clubs how these individuals may have roles in a preseason test for potential future implementation. https://t.co/jan7W5ltIz

The competition committee's formal recommendation to NFL owners that they ratify sky judge or technology adviser (or some blend of the two) as a preseason experiment greatly improves the chances that will be the outcome when the owners vote next Thursday.
— MarkMaske (@MarkMaske) May 21, 2020
It's likely NFL will use a sky judge (or booth umpire) or technology adviser as preseason experiment even if owners do not approve either concept yet for regular season use, source says, as previously speculated. Both have been proposed by Ravens and Chargers. Owners vote May 28.

Next week, @NFL clubs will meet virtually – among items on the agenda are a review of 2020 rules change proposals.

And as @ProFootballTalk mentioned, there's growing support for the Eagles' proposal to replace the onside kick with a fourth-and-15 play from the kicking team's 25-yard line.
— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) May 21, 2020
Under the proposal, teams could do this a max of two times per game.
Worth noting: A team would still be permitted to attempt a traditional onside kick. But with other rules changes making those harder than ever to recover, the NFL has been looking at alternatives, including experimenting with this rule the Pro Bowl. The AAF did similar. https://t.co/AAJvBoxB5F

One story & everybody in sports media now treating as fact that the league loses 5.5B if they play without fans. Spoke to one reporter who used it. Asked if it’s a gross or net number. Didn’t know. Asked if it included suites and club seats, didn’t know. We need better from media
