Good morning, GGN! A small step on the long road back from COVID-19 lockdown emerged recently as the NFL has issued guidelines for the re-opening of NFL facilities. As long as state and local authorities permit it and the NFL guidelines are followed, NFL teams may begin opening their facilities starting May 19. Coaches and players will not be permitted on site (other than players using the facilities to rehab injuries), so this is just a tiny step back, but at least we have the first glimmer of hope for the 2020 NFL season. Unfortunately for the local teams, even this small step will not be taken yet by the Jets and Giants, as the state and local authorities will not permit it. Hopefully conditions will improve enough that additional steps forward can soon be announced for all NFL teams.
