Merry Wednesday, everyone!
Hey, you’re stuck with me again today, as Rob is pulling double duty as doctor and dad. We here in North Dakota have been dealing with an unexpected hurricane, but the winds are supposed to subside a bit today, so I think kiddo and I are going to go on a kayak trip on a small river near here, and make our landing where the river meets the Missouri at a state park, and spend the night there. We’re looking forward to it. We tried this same trip last summer, but the trip was derailed by an insane rainstorm; the rain was coming down so hard, it sounded like a cow peeing on a flat rock. Let’s hope we have better luck with the weather tonight. There’s no rain in the foreguesst, but you know how reliable the weather folks are. We’ll see.

From FoxSports, the NFL has reinstated the Cowboys Aldon Smith, who last played in 2015.
The Saints are exploring naming rights options for the Superdome, per FoxSports. Is it just me, or do they go through the renaming process for that stadium every few weeks?
From ESPN, an unnamed NFL player says he was sexually harassed and assaulted during a United Airlines flight, per the lawsuit he filed against the airline. That’s........not something you see often.
