My favorite tune from that era (albeit a couple of years later) is very much an “acquired taste” and a lot of folks give me the “what in the name of St. Papa Bear Halas is that!!!” look... but here it is, a song (this is my favorite version) I listen to more than is quite right... it was so long the one song took both sides of an LP record (they broke the tune in the middle).

Both play for Chicago. Two All pros in the defensive backfield and three Pro-Bowl players with five combined appearances? Again, Chicago. Yet they rate us last behind a secondary that has exactly one Pro-Bowl appearance combined, a second year starter who wasn't very good last year at Safety, a rookie (we are both looking at a rookie)... yeah, I don't think so. But then again, Lions fans.
