Here’s the letter that Dan and Tanya Snyder emailed tonight to each member of their organization, per source: pic.twitter.com/R7N65ZM8cs

Tanya Snyder should run the team.
— Mark Tyler(Hogs Haven) (@Tiller56) July 18, 2020
That is it...
From earlier: The NFL and fellow owners, barring any new developments implicating Daniel Snyder directly, are not expected to take steps to try to force Snyder to sell the team. The team, following its review, likely is facing a fine by the league.... https://t.co/mOSIgGlHPz

As I read the Washington Post story last night I was overwhelmed with many emotions. The main one being my support and allegiance to the women who spoke out in the article. Today, after thinking over those feelings I felt the need to speak up... pic.twitter.com/nQJb7ErqCA

Statement from the NFL following the Washington Post story on allegations of sexual and workplace harassment involving the Washington organization. pic.twitter.com/hajzmLq1fh

Amazing how many people think 15 women (we know about) sexually harassed is no big deal and are disappointed this was the story. You are part of the problem.

"There is really no place in the league like that organization when it comes to the class system that exists. There's Dan Snyder and his inner circle, and there's everybody else."@JeffDarlington speaks on the "cultural issue" within Washington's organization. pic.twitter.com/3iSnlneEGi

I really hate repeating myself, the story is open for all to see. It’s not behind the paywall. My editors and I made sure it’s not. I just checked opened it from the internet without issue. And here’s a compare and contrast between a story behind our paywall. https://t.co/inYhTswEpE pic.twitter.com/sNvvFyaSfl

Ron Rivera won me over at his introductory press conference. You could tell professionalism was in the room that day. Never more so than now, his presence is needed for Washington’s players, fans, & even the media. He will need support to turn around a proven dysfunctional setup

If the NFL is going to allow the Wilkinson review to proceed, it needs to require -at a minimum- that all aspects of the review are released publicly. https://t.co/4JRE4dUURF

or they know and don’t want it to be exposed... whole thing is botched already
— CK (@thatboydidit) July 17, 2020
The NFL didn't let the Patriots decide who would investigate Deflategate, or let the Saints decide who would investigate Bountygate. The league cannot simply accept the conclusions of Dan Snyder's hand-picked attorney. https://t.co/Q3WdXwLsSy

Washington Post’s @Lescarpenter on this week’s #Redskins twitter speculation “I was a little appalled at seeing what a lot of other journalists in this town were out there tweeting as if they knew what this story was about”

“No regrets,” Rivera texted. “I look forward to the challenge of improving a 3-13 team. I want to build a sustainable winning culture, in every facet.”

Kapri Bibbs with some heavy words in his interview with @nflowen/@catchtheblitz, going as far as to say : “One hundred and ten percent, Dan was involved in sexual activity at Redskins park”

Also, Matt Ioannidis is really good pic.twitter.com/jTfk5MnGUP
— Mark Bullock (@MarkBullockNFL) July 17, 2020
Don't recall seeing this before. Watch Ioannidis as he transitions from run fake to pass rush. He jumps to fake blocking a pass, which causes the RG to pause, thinking the throw had been made. Then slams down with his hand to clear the RGs hands and skips by him for the sack pic.twitter.com/zE0xz4Ozdd

A youth football team in the Washington, DC area has filed a trademark for 'WASHINGTON WARRIORS.'
— Josh Gerben (@JoshGerben) July 17, 2020
The filing, made on July 13th, would create a significant legal roadblock to Dan Snyder selecting this as his new team name.#WashingtonFootball #DanSnyder pic.twitter.com/XY1KGMiS36
From a trademark registration perspective, it would be difficult for the USPTO to allow a registration for an NFL team on top of this filing. On purely technical grounds the applications would likely conflict.
— Josh Gerben (@JoshGerben) July 17, 2020
Sure. They could even work out a co-existence agreement.

— Around The NFL (@AroundTheNFL) July 17, 2020
Players would still have to be on the active roster through final cuts to be eligible for return. My understanding is there’s less concern in this environment about “stashing” than making sure teams have players they trained available. https://t.co/qMRBPceUMn

— Pro Football Rumors (@pfrumors) July 18, 2020
On the last one, the NFLPA told the players they will likely file a grievance if the guys are reporting and the league and union don’t have an agreement. But, again, for the time being, they should show, as they’re contractually obligated to.
— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) July 18, 2020
Still a LOT to be worked out.
If the Chiefs and Texans rookies indeed end up reporting to their training camps Monday as scheduled, players might not even enter the training facilities. They would undergo coronavirus testing in the parking lot, source says.

Meanwhile, as for the league’s virtual meeting today, I asked a few team execs if they had more answers coming out of that. “No,” one responded, via text. “More questions.”

Players start reporting in less than 72 hours.
The NFL banked a lot of credibility when it pulled off the draft even as criticism mounted. They’ll lean on that next week as they open camps - we’ve done this before, trust us.
