About that landing, though. . .
This story happened a few days ago, but it’s new to me, and I don’t think we’ve discussed it here yet, so let’s talk about it!
We know that new Minnesota Vikings’ wide receiver Justin Jefferson is impressive, what with leading the NCAA in receptions last season with 111 and finding the end zone 18 times. He also appears to have mastered the art of the one-handed catch, as you can see in this video that even caught the attention of current NFL receiver and fellow LSU alum Odell Beckham Jr.

The catch was impressive, sure. Less impressive? That landing.
I mean, honestly, I can’t be the only one that was having visions of the Vikings current #2 wide receiver ending up with a serious injury after that, am I? This is the Vikings, after all.
The Vikings are going to need Jefferson at 100% when camp gets underway here in a couple of weeks. Once the team gets to Eagan, Jefferson should have plenty of time to work on one-handed catches on an actual football field.
On a related note, man, it will be nice to have actual football stuff to talk about again here soon.
